ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (ESEA)

Elementary and Secondary Education Association (ESEA) is an Academic club at SUNY Geneseo that provides education majors with opportunities to explore careers in the teaching profession, to become involved in volunteering and tutoring opportunities in the community, to communicate between faculty and students, to increase awareness of educational issues as well as work to improve the quality of teacher education programs at SUNY Geneseo.

At every meeting a SUNY Geneseo School of Education professor gives a presentation about relevant topics in education. Students are also given opportunities to volunteer in the community.

All Geneseo students including non-education members are welcome to become members of ESEA!

Come see us at the Club Fair Expo on Wednesday, September 13th from 2:00-4:00 PM in the MacVittie College Union!

 Club Meetings are held in South 235 on the following dates: 9/19, 10/3, 10/17, 11/7, 11/28 

Information about volunteering opportunities and service projects will be announced at meetings!
